The Board of Trustees approved a plan to demolish Morrill Hall. Originally built in 1900 and called the Women's Building, Morrill Hall was designed for the teaching of domestic science, and contained offices, classrooms, a cooking laboratory, music, rooms, and bedrooms and sitting rooms for 120 women.
