Description:

A $25,000 legislative appropriation provided the funds for a new three-story brick dormitory with room for 130 students. The dorm was named in honor of Hezekiah Wells, long-serving president of the State Board of Agriculture and fighter for the college's needs. It was located on the site of the current library.
