Jonathan Snyder retired after 19 years served as president of M.A.C. Under his guidance, the college witnessed massive increases in enrollment, college income, building numbers, and departments. Snyder more than doubled the number of enrolled students at M.A.C., and he rose the fixed income of the college by ten times its previous amount. He was also responsible for the additions of the Women's Division, Veterinary Division, and Forestry Department.
