The Women's Building, now Morrill Hall, is completed and dedicated on October 25, 1900. The new structure was at the time the most expensive built on M.A.C. campus. The Women's Building included offices, the Department of Domestic Art, a kitchen laboratory, dining room, recitation room, kitchen, gymnasium, music rooms, and waiting and reception rooms, as well as housing and facilities for 120 women.
