President Abbot reported, "The grounds around the new Boarding Hall and the farmhouse will be graded and put in order in the coming season. Improvements have progressed in the getting out of stumps, the building of fences, the eradication of bushes, clearing fields of rubbish, and bringing the land into grass as rapidly as the character of the season would allow."
