Lyman Briggs College (LBC) was founded as an undergraduate residential college focused on bridging the divide between sciences and humanities. It is one of three residential colleges at MSU.
LBC was named after Lyman Briggs (1874-1963), an accomplished scientist and 1893 graduate of Michigan Agricultural College (now MSU).
