Gertrude Howe, Lansing

Elizabeth E. Sessions, Ionia

Catherine E. Steele, North Henderson, IL



They started classes on February 23, 1870.  According to William J. Beal, they were admitted "with very little noise about it." (History of Michigan Agricultural College, 1915)
