Audio recording of the November 1, 1974 dedication of Munn Ice Arena. Announcer Terry Braverman welcomes guests to the facility and introduces MSU Athletic Director Burt Smith, who thanks many people that made the building possible, including current Head Hockey Coach Amo Bessone. Smith then presents MSU President Clifton R. Wharton, Jr., who dedicates the facility to its namesake, Clarence L. "Biggie" Munn. Wharton acknowledges Munn's past achievements as the former Head Football Coach and as the previous Athletic Director. The recording ends with Smith indicating that Munn is present and will receive a ceremonial puck on the ice.
