Footage of the September 1979 non-conference game against the Miami Redskins (now Miami RedHawks) at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. MSU Head Coach - Darryl Rogers; Miami (OH) Head Coach - Tom Reed. Spartans won 24-21.

Despite kicker Morten Andersen being out with a back injury, this close win would move the Spartans into a No. 7-ranking (AP) before heading to their first game on the road.
