The flyer advertises a march on the East Lansing city hall to advocate for open housing in East Lansing. The march was sponsored by the MSU Chapter, Nactional Association for the Advancement of Colored People; MSU Friends of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee; Committee for Student Rights and the Canterbury Club. The groups requested that the city council adopt legal measures for realtors or land lords to be punished for discrimination against african-americans. The city council instead adopted a resolution against prejudice. The MSU groups then called for a march on East Lansing city hall.
