Highlights from Spartan athletics during the month of January, 1982. The hockey team (Head Coach: Ron Mason) takes on the Miami (OH) RedHawks at Munn Ice Arena. The wrestling team (Head Coach: Grady Peninger) competes against Oklahoma in the Jenison Gymnasium. The women's swimming team (Head Coach: Jennifer Parks) takes on Minnesota at Charles McCaffree Pool. The fencing team (Head Coach: Charles Schmitter) competes against University of Chicago and Illinois in a triangular match in Jenison.
