Footage from the March 1979 NCAA Tournament game against the Indiana State Sycamores at the Special Events Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. MSU Head Coach - Jud Heathcote; Indiana State Head Coach - Bill Hodges. Spartans won 75-64 and achieved MSU's first-ever national championship in men's basketball.

Magic Johnson scored 24 points, Terry Donnelly scored 15 points (including going 5 for 5 on field goal attempts), and Ron Charles, Jay Vincent and Mike Brkovich also scored in this game.
