Footage from the November 1965 non-conference game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. MSU Head Coach - Duffy Daugherty; Notre Dame Head Coach - Ara Parseghian. Spartans won 12-3.

The Fighting Irish were first on the scoreboard with a 22-yard field goal in the first quarter. With the score 0-3, Notre Dame leading at the half, Clinton Jones scored a touchdown on a three-yard run in the third quarter (the extra point attempt was no good). Spartan quarterback Steve Juday connected with running back Dwight Lee on a 19-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter (a two-point conversion was no good).
