Senior portrait of Iverson C. Bell, who graduated with a B.S. in veterinary medicine in 1949. He was one of the first African Americans to earn a degree in veterinary medicine from Michigan State. Bell was later a recipient of the Distinguished Veterinary Alumnus Award.
