Senators and townspeople gather in Big Rapids after the passing of Michigan Senator Woodbridge N. Ferris. Governor Green issues a statewide safety proclamation. Footage of pilot Harry Brooks shortly before his plane falls into the Atlantic while flying to Miami. Ice boats compete in a race on frozen Gull Lake. Hundreds of ducks are seen flying north from Sanger's Bay. Vets compete in a boxing match at Prudden Auditorium in downtown Lansing.
