Recordings of an interview with Walter L. Mallmann (retired professor of bacteriology), conducted in four parts in the spring of 1981 by Vergil Noble for a history class at Michigan State University. This third interview includes discussion of the sit-down strikes in Lansing, the influenza epidemic during World War I, his work in public health, a brucella outbreak at Michigan State, and the college presidents.
