Footage of the September 1967 non-conference game against the no. 2 ranked University of Southern California (USC) Trojans at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. MSU Head Coach - Duffy Daugherty; USC Head Coach - John McKay. Spartans lost 17-21.

USC halfback O.J. Simpson (32) runs for 190 yards, scoring 2 touchdowns. Michigan State scores all their points in the 2nd quarter, with running back Dwight Lee (34) making a 1-yard touchdown run, wide receiver Allen Brenner (86) catching a 47-yard pass from quarterback Jimmy Raye (with a 2-point conversion), and USC punter Rikki Aldridge picking up a ball snapped over his head at the one yard line and running it out of the end zone for a safety.
