Footage from the January 1980 game against the Purdue Boilermakers at Jenison Field House in East Lansing, Michigan. MSU Head Coach - Jud Heathcote; Purdue Head Coach - Lee Rose. Spartans lost 73-74.

Earvin "Magic" Johnson returned to Jenison that night to watch his former college team play, and to accept a trophy at halftime for being the Most Valuable Player in the Big Ten for the 1978-79 season.
