Footage of the Spartan Marching Band's halftime performance at the November 1976 football game against Indiana. The band begins with a percussion and flag corps feature. In a tribute to animals, the trombone section is featured in Tiger Rag, the trumpets in Woody Woodpecker Theme, and the Sousaphones in The Pink Panther. The band performs Maynard Ferguson's version of Herbie Hancock's Chameleon, House on Pooh Corner from Winnie the Pooh, and finishes with the MSU Fight Song.
The band is under the direction of Kenneth G. Bloomquist, and the assistant director is Thad Hegerberg.
