This photograph is in a scrapbook of pictures put together by international student Onn Mann Liang. This picture was taken on Liang's wedding day in January, 1936, and it shows the extended wedding party (in a rare mixture of Western and traditional clothing). The young woman to the left of the bride is identified as Liang's sister, and the two young men at the far back left are Liang's brothers. Liang's mother is seen in the front row, third from the right, in the middle of four younger women and girls.
