This photograph is in a scrapbook of pictures taken by international student Onn Mann Liang while he was at MSU between 1924 and 1926. Liang had won awards for his photography, and his scrapbooks show his experimental images. This picture has a note on the back that reads, "Against A Study Lamp (40 Watts), Back Element, Stop way down, 1/10 second, Agfa Portr. Pan."
