Written on the back of the photograph reads: These three members of the MSU Marching Band are preparing for their trip in a "Rocket 88" to New York City, while Peggy White, Spartan co-ed, is pointing out the spots to see while they are there. Edward Spink, pres. of the unit, Ron Nightingale, and Jack Rajula are wearing their new "warm-up" jackets. In the JV game of the Wuli (?), The Green and White marching band will compete on the gridiron with the famous U of M marching group.
