Description:

Michigan Agricultural College celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1907. For commencement activities that year, President Theodore Roosevelt came to East Lansing to deliver the commencement address. Roosevelt rode with MAC President Jonathon Snyder and inventor Ransom E. Olds in a REO Motor Car down east Michigan Avenue to campus. Roosevelt is sitting in the back seat of the car with Snyder. Olds is driving the car. Beside Olds is William Loeb, Roosevelt's secretary.
