Description: This photograph was taken after the Botanical Laboratory was destroyed by fire. Four men stand in front the foundation and a chimney that still stands. The two men on the left are labeled as Wheeler and Beal. On the front of the photo is written "Agrl. Colle. Mich. Botanical Dept. March 24, '90." Printed on the front is "Savigny & Christmas, Lansing, Michigan. See A000664b.jpg (MSU/645a) for text on the back of photograph includes commentary on the scene.
