Creator: Class of 1917
Subjects: Student Activities
Description: This class rivalry poster was created by the sophomores (Class of 1917) to insult the freshmen (Class of 1918) before their annual class rivalry contest. The poster features a hearse, marked '17, carrying a coffin marked 1918. The text on the poster says, "Ye Boobs of '18. Hear Ye, Dregs of the Sewers: This is a college, not a barnyard, you anemic, atrophied aggregation of apes. Your conduct nauseates us, your malformed craniums are seething cess-pools of stagnation, therefore - Know Ye: To us has been detailed the task of ridding our beloved campus of your detestable carcasses ; and, efstoon the Slaughter Saturday Cometh. In the evening your corrupting corses will litter the earth. To us the task is odious, but love for our college rules the Class of '17."
