Sir Eric Ashby, President of Cambridge University, presents a recorded message of congratulations to John A. Hannah on twenty-five years as President of Michigan State. Dr. D. B. "Woody" Varner is the Master of Ceremonies at a celebration dinner at the Lansing Civic Center, and Governor Romney and his wife are also present. During the program, Mrs. Hannah is presented with a bracelet containing a gold and platinum charm with an "S" made of diamonds on a background of emeralds.
