Class reunion of 1873 posing in front of the class gift they donated, the Rock. The young woman, standing in the back off to the left, is Margaret Kedzie. Her father was George Kedzie and he was a graduate of the 1873 class. He was away for work, so Margaret stood in to represent her father. George Kedzie was a nephew of Dr. Robert Kedzie. The Rock was dedicated on May 30, 1873 and this reunion photo was taken exactly thirty-four years later.
The back of the photo has two different written notes. The first set reads, "Prof. Carpenter (Cornell), Rev. Delarmaster (Lansing), Dr. Mumser (Owosso), Pro/ Crandall (Purdee), Marion Halfstedd, Prof. Tripp Cornell.
The second written note reads, "Reading from left to right: 1. Mrs. Chas. Ball; 2. Margie Kedzie (maybe d. or gd. of Geo. E. Kedzie '73); 3. Charles Ball '73; 4. Jill Carpenter (Frank ?
