Footage from the September 1947 away game against Michigan. The Michigan State College (MSC) Spartans (head coach Clarence "Biggie" Munn) take on the Michigan Wolverines (head coach Fritz Crisler) with 70,115 in attendance at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. Michigan halfback Bob Chappuis runs for three touchdowns, and throws a fourth touchdown pass in this game. The Michigan Marching Band, under the direction of William Revelli, can be seen performing at halftime.

The Spartans lost 0-55. This was Biggie Munn's first game as Spartan football head coach.
