Description:
Blanche Martin graduated from MSU in 1959. He did graduate studies in zoology and biochemistry before going to dental school where one of his instructors was John DiBiaggio. He set up a dental practice in East Lansing, where he practiced for almost 40 years. Martin was the first African American elected to the MSU Board of Trustees. He served as a Board member from 1969-1984.
