Ruth Jameyson graduated with a BS in math with a teaching certificate in 1930 from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After teaching in local schools for three years, she came to Michigan in the fall of 1933 and worked as a graduate assistant at MSC. In succeeding years she held several other positions, including working for President Shaw from 1938-41. After Dr. Shaw retired, Ruth stayed on as an administrative assistant to John Hannah, and retired after serving the University for 31 years.
